As much as I detest Trump, I also had to smile at some of the self-righteous comments from others in this article.
As for Ezra Klein’s bold statement, “This is not how men speak in locker rooms”, I call BULLSHIT in large letters; this is exactly how a lot of blokes talk in locker rooms, pubs, bars, and in private generally.
Just because neither I nor my friends do, doesn’t mean that plenty of others don’t – and these are the sort of people to whom the brash, racist, sexist, anti-establishment Trump appeals.
This is exactly why they are supporting him, because he’s their sort of bloke, sharing their sort of values.
As we’ve said before – this is more of a sad reflection on the state of a large percentage of the American public than it is on the state of their politics.
Before I get a barrage of angry Yanks yelling at me; we’re no better – we have UKIP and Trump’s new best mate Farage to contend with, in exactly the same way.
